We’ve been conditioned as a society to think rest is lazy & unproductive. But, when you’re grieving, depressed, overwhelmed, or just struggling in general, you actually need rest. When your mental health is at a low point, treat it as you would if you had the flu. Spend some time in bed, nourish yourself with some food and take it easy.


Unlearn the idea that you have to be “productive” by “doing” and “accomplishing”. So, if you need it - I give you permission to rest. Because, rest is productive, too.
